what an amazing accomplishment with an amazing group of incredible people. I got teary as well! really inspiring. funny story…I cycle with a bunch of women, and we have done many rides together. Beth is in charge of the Vaseline to prevent chafing on our 100 milers…we have one rule….no double dipping in the vaseline jar. Really a whole new level of camaraderie and girl power.

    Hey Carly,
I just watched your video and had to cry with you. I climbed Kilimanjaro 2 Years ago and I know what it means to struggle and think"I can't do this". But we're fighters and we can do everything if we believe!
It's such a great experience which we'll never forget.
Congrats to you and regards from Germany 🙂

I never comment on videos but this video has inspired me so much! I did Base Camp Everest with a group of other walkers and it was the most amazing experience I thought I would ever have, breathtaking views and meeting such amazing people! We all made it to base camp but I ended up getting carried back down because of altitude sickness hitting me so bad, I understand when you were saying sorry at the end because that’s how I thought!! It’s such a strange feeling of huge achievement you’ve done and also disappointment at the same time for being ill and for me slowing people down but that feeling when you make it is incredible and I tell everyone I meet you should do something like that because the feeling isn’t like anything else!! I would love to complete Kilimanjaro as well, you’re should be so proud of yourself Carly!!!! High five to all the girls 🙌🏼💪🏻 you bossed it 💕

Amazing job and great video. We climbed Kili last September and it was amazing but to be fair it still hasnt sunk in that we actually did it because from summit day to getting back down to camp is just a blur. its a different world up there and like you said the porters are like machines and they kept our spirits up every step along the way.
